Position luminaires in the premises
The position luminaires dialogue box allows entering luminaire distributions of the models previously chosen from the catalogue.
In this dialogue box, as with the room editor, there is an area for drawing in the left part of the screen.
The luminaire editor allows the following luminaire distributions:
These options are selected from the luminaire menu, and each distribution
has a certain number of successive stages. Certain data are entered
or indicated in each stage. The option can be cancelled by using the
button.
It is also possible to go back to the preceding stage by using the
button.
In order to confirm the data of each stage, use the
button.
A luminaire distribution (light green) is proposed
in the final stage (except for an individual luminaire), which must be confirmed
in order to save them as real luminaires.Do not forget to select the desired
luminaire model from the list.
The stages are the following:
Individual luminaire:
A single stage.Enter the data manually, or use the mouse to click on the desired position for the co-ordinates (X, Y).

From associated DXF
With this operation all POINT elements will be taken from the selected layers of the DXF associated file, and will be converted into luminaires.
Certain operations can be done with the existing luminaires. Just as with the room editor, there are tool buttons that serve to perform the following operations:
Select
luminaires: A light fixture will be selected by clicking near its
centre with the left mouse button. A selected luminaire is shown in
red, while all luminaires not selected will
be shown in dark green Various luminaires
can be selected by keeping the CTRL button pressed. By holding the
CTRL key down and selecting a luminaire that was already selected
(red), that luminaire will become
un-selected (dark green).
Capture
luminaires: This tool allows selecting all luminaires that are within
a capture rectangle. This rectangle is defined using the
mouse button. All luminaires that have their centres included within the rectangle
will be selected.
Move
luminaires: This option allows moving the selected
luminaires. To do so, click on one of them as if to select it, and
without releasing the mouse button, drag the luminaire to the new position.
NOTE: If you click on an un-selected luminaire, it will be the only luminaire selected and can be moved.
Delete
luminaires: This tool deletes all luminaires selected at that time.
luminaire
properties: This allows varying the properties of the selected
luminaires, both individually and as a whole. It also allows changing
the luminairemodel without changing the other properties. When there
is more than one luminaire selected, only the information about the rotation
and type of model can be varied.
Focus
luminaires: It rotates the selected luminaires such that they all
point towards one point, the co-ordinates of which must be entered and confirmed.
Orient
like a wall: It rotates the selected luminaires such that they are
oriented with their central axis perpendicular towards the wall. The
wall is selected from the drawing area, and it must be a flat wall.
Rotate
90º on the Z-axis: Whenever this option is accessed, the selected
luminaires are rotated 90º around the Z-axis.
Copy:
This makes a copy in memory of the selected luminaires, thus storing
them in the copy memory. It can also be activated from the
Edit menu.
Paste:
This shows the luminaires in the copy memory according to the position
of the cursor. If the left mouse button is pressed, the luminaires
in the copy memory become real luminaires. It can also be activated
from the Edit menu
Zoom:
This works exactly the same as the room editor
Change
view: This allows changing between the floor plan (X, Y) and the
perspective view.
.Move

the perspective view in order to change the point of view

luminaire. To do so, move the focal point where the luminaire points.

This option undoes the last operation performed. It can also
be activated from the Edit menu.

luminaire rotation directions: When a luminaire is rotated, an order must be established for the rotations on the various axes. Moreover, the positive rotation direction with respect to an axis must be taken into account. The rotation directions with respect to the axes are the following:
The default position of a luminaire is when its rotation values are all null, meaning when rotation on X = 0, Rotation on Y = 0 and Rotation on Z = 0. In this case, the luminaire position is the following:
All rotations will be calculated with respect to the initial position.
